Daddy

One of the best things about the girls going to preschool are the homemade gifts. The cards they made for Father's Day for their daddy included some of their thoughts about him.

From Makena:

Daddy is 21 years old.

His eyes are black.

His favorite food is macaroni.

He's stronger than an elephant.

His job is fixing the car.

He's really good at going to L.A.

I love my daddy because I do.

From Alyssa:

Daddy is 3 years old.

His eyes are black.

His favorite food is sandwiches.

He's stronger than my doggy.

His job is he works in San Francisco.

He's really good at playing with me.

I love my daddy because he loves me.

From Riley:

Daddy is 5 years old.

His eyes are hazel.

His favorite food is turkey.

He's stronger than a dinosaur.

His job is to fix the car.

He's really good at a game.

I love my daddy because he plays games.

There are so many reasons why we love you daddy.

Dear Daddy

We wanted to dedicate a special post to you daddy in honor of Father's Day.

We've learned alot over the last year.

We can now sit and eat lunch like big girls on our weekly outing to "Skosco."

We've learned that these golf club thingies you like so much make a nice accessory to our fancy pink shoes.

But you should probably start putting some extra money away in that shoe and purse fund now. You know a girl can never have too many purses or shoes.

And Makena learned how to get every last crumb out of the cracker box.

Riley learned how to shimmy underneath the baby gate 'cause she isn't a baby anymore.

We've learned that dirt doesn't taste so good

But cupcakes aren't so bad

We've learned how to help you clean up the yard

But we already knew how to make a big mess in the house

We're so thankful you are our daddy

So we hope you enjoy this cookie we made especially for you

We licked it decorated it ourselves

So here's to another year daddy.

Dancing for us (Bus Stop, Electric Slide)

Going for bike rides on warm summer days

Going to the movies on HOT summer days and daddy would always fall asleep

You'd snore and wake yourself up (ha-ha)

I inherited your love of anything chocolate

You always have such a great sense of humor and we love to laugh

I always feel safe with you dad and am so lucky to have you
