Our wagon ride for Tuesday

The girls and I rolled to the park in the wagon on Saturday. The air was a little chilly, but the sun was shining and the girls soaked up a little sun in true California fashion.

I thought of Tuesday and the celebration of her life that was occurring that day.

I said a prayer for my three healthy girls.

I know how lucky I am to have them here with me.

I watched them run and jump and laugh.

We continue to keep the Whitt family in our prayers.

Wagon rides for Tuesday

I know many of you out in the blogging community have read about Tuesday Whitt's story and her battle with neuroblastoma. For those of you who don't know her story, Tuesday passed away on January 30th. Tuesday and her family have been in my thoughts and prayers.

In honor of Tuesday, a couple of blogging moms are hosting a virtual "wagie ride." From what I have read, going for wagon rides was one of Tuesday's favorite things to do. So the girls and I will be taking a wagon ride in memory of Tuesday on February 7th.

Wordful Wednesday and The Hiding Spot

As the girls entered toddlerhood two years ago, we started to let them out of "baby jail" so they could start exploring larger areas in the house.

They quickly claimed one of our cabinets in the kitchen as one of their favorite places to hang out. I keep this cabinet full of plastic containers that at first, just kept the girls entertained by their ability to take them in and out while opening and closing the cabinet door over and over and over. And of course, once the cabinet was empty, they figured out that all three of them could squeeze in it and hide from mommy.

The "magic" of the cabinet still exists today. The girls love going in there to find plastic containers that they can "cook" in. And of course, they still find joy in just making a mess and throwing them all over the kitchen and living room. All three of them can still squeeze in there, but it gets a little crowded....especially when they drag along their Easter baskets, blankets and backpacks.
