The early days when the girls finally made it home from the hospital are a blur. Lots of bottles, diaper changing and naps. Luckily, the girls were on a 4 hour feeding schedule when they came home so it made it somewhat easier for us to get some rest in between feedings. Feeding Alyssa was the most challenging as it often took 45 minutes to an hour to get her to finish a bottle and that was in between crying fits that still have my ears ringing. Steve was often finished feeding Riley and Makena long before Alyssa was done!
The girls were snuggled in for a nap.
